Activities of the role:

• Identify and resolve minor network and infrastructure design issues, recommending alternative solutions where appropriate.
• Design and configure network components and network segments in line with organisational architecture and standards.
• Support systems integration by executing integration tests, recording results, and reporting defects, risks, and issues.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco LAN equipment and associated active network devices.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving network infrastructure incidents and connectivity issues.
• Support the maintenance and configuration of Siemens telephone systems, DECT phones, VoIP, and VoSIP solutions.
• Set up, operate, and manage audiovisual (AV) infrastructure for meetings, conferences, live streaming, and hybrid events.
• Develop AV implementation plans, technical run sheets (Run of Show), and streaming solutions for digital events.
• Configure and manage mobile streaming studios, video walls, green screens, and digital event technologies.
• Produce digital event content including banners, jingles, and digital signage.
• Support conferencing platforms including Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, and other virtual meeting solutions.
• Provide first-line support for conferencing, video bridging, recording, and AV services.
• Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot AV/VTC services, escalating issues and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Supervise technical teams during large-scale digital and hybrid events.
• Deliver on-site technical support during meetings and events, including hardware deployment and rapid issue resolution.

Skills & experience:

• Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Minimum two years' experience working within an international or multinational organisation.
• Experience managing and configuring Cisco Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure and end-user network devices.
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring Polycom Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
• Strong knowledge of network support, systems integration, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience setting up and operating professional audio-visual equipment for indoor and outdoor events.
• Experience supporting live streaming, digital meetings, hybrid events, and conference technologies.
• Knowledge of Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Experience supporting VoIP, VoSIP, DECT, and enterprise telephony systems.
• Ability to execute integration testing, analyse results, and document technical issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with experience providing on-site technical support.
• Experience working outside normal business hours to support operational requirements is advantageous.
